Premium Fusible Fleece Interfacing (100gsm & 200gsm)
Give your sewing projects the perfect amount of body, cushioning, and structure. This premium fusible fleece interfacing is a soft, padded, heat-activated synthetic batting. It is designed to be permanently ironed onto the wrong side of your fabric to add gorgeous dimension and body to your sewing projects while completely eliminating the need for tedious pinning or basting.

Noticeably thicker than standard woven or non-woven interfacing, our fusible fleece provides a "squishy" or plush feel without adding rigid, heavy bulk.
Choose Your Weight (100gsm vs 200gsm)
Because fusible fleece is lofted (fluffy) rather than densely woven, its weight categories sit differently compared to standard fabrics:
- 100 gsm (Lightweight / Light-Medium): A low-loft, thin, and slightly translucent option. Adds a soft, subtle body without stiffness. Perfect for small or delicate items where you want shape but minimal bulk, such as zipper pouches, wallets, placemats, apparel cuffs, and quilting-as-you-go projects.
- 200 gsm (Midweight / Medium-Heavy): A medium-to-high loft option that is plump, plush, and dense. Provides noticeable padding, structure, and cushioning. Ideal for substantial items requiring impact protection or distinct structure, such as large tote bags, laptop sleeves, camera bags, winter outerwear insulation, and structured home decor.

- Home Décor: Placemats, table runners, and holiday crafts.
- Padded Items: Laptop/tablet cases, camera bags, and quilted potholders.
How to Apply It
- Prep your fabric: Ensure your exterior fabric is ironed flat and free of wrinkles.
- Identify the adhesive side: The fusible side has a heat-activated glue (as small, bumpy dots) that will feel slightly rough.
- Position the layers: Lay the fleece down with the bumpy adhesive side facing up. Place the wrong side (back) of your fabric directly against the glue.
- Trim seams (Optional): Many bag makers prefer to trim the fleece out of the seam allowances slightly to reduce bulk when stitching.
- Iron/Press: Cover with a damp press cloth to protect the fleece fibers. Set your iron to a medium-to-wool heat setting. Press firmly and hold the iron in place for 10–15 seconds. Do not glide or slide the iron back and forth.
- Cool and Set: Allow the freshly ironed piece to sit flat and cool completely for about 30 minutes so the adhesive can fully cure.
Care Instructions
Made from 100% premium polyester, this interfacing is fully washable. Machine-wash on a warm, delicate cycle and tumble dry on low, or dry-clean.
Pro-Tips for Crafters
- Prevent "bubble" wrinkles: If you experience bubbling, try spritzing the fleece lightly with water and covering it with a Teflon pressing sheet before ironing.
- Shifting alternatives: If you ever need to use regular, non-fusible batting, you can substitute this effect by using a temporary spray adhesive or quilting directly to your fabric
